Inspired by the chapel of St. Basil in Texas through both it’s form and symbolism. The sculptures’ composition is inspired by the composition of the chapel which consists of 3 different forms that come together to form the chapel. The slit in the sculpture is inspired by the entrance of the chapel to symbolize the meaning of the word Earth as humans are born into earth and go back to it through the slit of life.

This collection is photographed by artist Alfred Moussa, who believes that people can see life and hope even in the most difficult circumstances. Through his lens, Alfred was able to take pictures of cigarette smoke, which is harmful to health, and turn them into artistic photos showing the shape of women’s bodies, sculpted through the stages of life.

Concept:
The sculpture is inspired by the ribbon chapel in Japan, as the sculpture is created using one continuous ribbon. The letters wrap around each other the same way the staircase wraps around the chapel to generate the form of the word Passion, شغف in Arabic. The design of the sculpture emphasizes on the abstract meaning of passion that is often continuous and limitless.

As an original contemporary composition for a portrait, I was inspired by the horizontal representation of a boat to symbolize that journey that a person goes trough the physical and spiritual travel

“the fight” started in 2017 which celebrates the subject of combat and confrontation.
it is indeed an extrapolation of my approach which consists in painting figurative subjects from calligraphic gestures.
a way of reconciling the Arabo-Islamic visual cultural heritage and the Western one, thus the shape of the body, the gesture, its nobility, and weakness are rendered by lines of writing in Arabic which brings in movement giving them almost life in them fixing in an instant that is immortalized by victory or loss »

بدأ “القتال” في عام 2017 ، الذي يحتفي بموضوع القتال والمواجهة.
إنه بالفعل استقراء لنهجي الذي يتألف من رسم الموضوعات التصويرية من الإيماءات الخطية.
طريقة للتوفيق بين التراث الثقافي البصري العربي الإسلامي والتراث الغربي ، وبالتالي فإن شكل الجسد ، والإيماءة ، ونبلها ، وضعفها تتجسد في خطوط الكتابة باللغة العربية التي تجلب لهم الحركة مما يمنحهم الحياة تقريبًا في الإصلاح. في لحظة يخلدها النصر أو الخسارة »

يمثل العمل حصان احادي القرن Unicorn اضافة الى مطلع بيت شعري ” الخيل والليل والبيداء تعرفني” للشاعر العباسي ابو الطيب المتنبي.
حفر النص على نسختين موضوعتين على القاعدة.

اسلوب الكتابه مستوحى من الخط الديواني الذي كان يستعمل في ديوان السلطان العثماني خاصة في مراسلات السلطان. فقد صمم هذا الخط وتم تعديله وتطويره ليتناسب مع مكانة السلطان المرموقة.

اما الحصان احادي القرن فهو كائن اسطوري يرمز الى القوة والاندفاع والطهارة لذلك يعتبر شخصية محببة للأطفال.

الحصان مفرغ بمربعات متفاوتة الاحجام تشير الى التراكم الكمي للذاكرة ببعديها العاطفي والذهني.

مجمل العمل يمثل مفاهيم متنوعة تعبر وتربط بين التاريخ، التراث، الحاضر الفتي، العفوية، البراءة، القوة والاندفاع.

During creation of my works some spontaneous forms cross my mind consistently and I extend them on the canvas, they are derived from nature or architecture.

And I also brought together what had been received mentally with my inner emotions in works of calligraphy in form of letters and words.

Layers of oil paint, by chance, create spaces and lightings from one surface to another on the canvas, in result texture of letters and words are formed based on it.

The continuity of Iranian “Nastaliq shekaste” script, in an integrated texture with many curves and circles and with solidarity of letters like a chain, in the direction of the form is one of the features that I have found in such writing.

حينما تصل لدرجة الوجد بمن تحب تكون حزينا ، فالوجد هو الحب ممزوجا بالحزن، فأنت تحزن لو ابتعد عنك وتحزن لو لم يهتم بك بدرجة كافية وتحزن لو اهتم بغيرك أكثر منك وهكذا
