This collection is photographed by artist Alfred Moussa, who believes that people can see life and hope even in the most difficult circumstances. Through his lens, Alfred was able to take pictures of cigarette smoke, which is harmful to health, and turn them into artistic photos showing the shape of women’s bodies, sculpted through the stages of life.

As an original contemporary composition for a portrait, I was inspired by the horizontal representation of a boat to symbolize that journey that a person goes trough the physical and spiritual travel

“the fight” started in 2017 which celebrates the subject of combat and confrontation.
it is indeed an extrapolation of my approach which consists in painting figurative subjects from calligraphic gestures.
a way of reconciling the Arabo-Islamic visual cultural heritage and the Western one, thus the shape of the body, the gesture, its nobility, and weakness are rendered by lines of writing in Arabic which brings in movement giving them almost life in them fixing in an instant that is immortalized by victory or loss »

And I also brought together what had been received mentally with my inner emotions in works of calligraphy in form of letters and words.

Layers of oil paint, by chance, create spaces and lightings from one surface to another on the canvas, in result texture of letters and words are formed based on it.

The continuity of Iranian “Nastaliq shekaste” script, in an integrated texture with many curves and circles and with solidarity of letters like a chain, in the direction of the form is one of the features that I have found in such writing.

It’s in the manner of « Laboror Son of Fervent » that our new art work take it’s spirit, the
number of six, inspired by the double trinity, that symbolized the re-confirmation of acting and
laboring space, it’s always a work of essentialization and seeking of the deep meaning of the
nature of things… letters and geometric forms will be aligned in order of the contemporary
relecture of our heritage.

The inspiration behind this body of work came from a
philosophical idea that refers to the underlying layer of the world
of sounds, words, and tangible objects: an ineffable, vibrant and
ever-present substrate. Perhaps the best approach to it can be
likened to a form of silence. My goal is to point to this layer and
put it in a dialog with the outer layer, which is made up of
information and phenomena.

ever-present substrate. Perhaps the best approach to it can be
likened to a form of silence. My goal is to point to this layer and
put it in a dialog with the outer layer, which is made up of
information and phenomena.

In “Singularity Encoded”, each letterform represents a unit of existence, spiraling out from the centre. The mathematical principle of the Golden Ratio,is present between each level of the composition, pointing at the fractal nature of the Universe. The entire work materializes from a single dot at the center, representing the philosophical idea of ” The Unity of Existence ” or “Vahdat al Vojoud” (وحدت الوجود) , expounded by the Sheikh Al Akbar ( the greatest master) Ibn Al Arabi. Moreover, hidden within the composition, are numerous names of almighty (Asma Al Hosna), which alludes to another philosophical principle of Ibn Al Arabi’s thought “Nafas Rahmani”.
